Meet the Seal-za — a gyoza dumpling shaped like a tiny seal, tucked into a bamboo steamer like it just popped up from the ocean to say hello. Soft pleats become little flippers, black sesame eyes stare back at you, and the whole thing is glossy, delicate, and perfectly steamed. Cute? Yes. Delicious? Also yes. Emotionally difficult to eat? Possibly. But once you dip it in soy and chili oil… the decision gets easier.
