March 3rd is World Wildlife Day! This day is a United Nations designated day to celebrate and raise awareness of the world’s wild animals and plants. For today, Howard letterpress printed an image of a small furry animal from a large photo engraving. This cut was acquired a year ago by a staff person, Pete, of the museum. The artist who designed the image is George Thomas Hamer. Our problem is that we are having a hard time identifying what animal is depicted in the print.
