I grew up feeling super different and isolated, but I’ve come to appreciate that being an outsider regardless of what I did actually gave me a huge head start to knowing what was authentic to me and marching to the beat of my own drum. And once that drum was pants, and those pants drums helped to launch a weird creative career I’m still loving today. Just a reminder that being your unique self is one of the most powerful ways forward!
