The Bull Hand Rodeo Academy bull riding and bullfighting school — led by PBR Canada Champion Zane Lambert and long-time PBR/CPRA bullfighter and Hall of Famer Scott Byrne — took over the Calnash Ag Events Centre in Ponoka, Alberta this past weekend. . . . . Year after year, current and former competitors step up to run schools like this, passing on the tools that can’t be learned in a classroom — the kind of knowledge you only earn in and around the rodeo arena. And while Lambert and Byrne bring decades of experience, they’re far from alone. A crew of pros showed up to pour into the next generation, including Ashton Sahli, Garrett Green, Brock Radford, Cody Coverchuk, and alumni Tyler Pankewitz and Wacey Finkbeiner.
