Anna Camp has apologised after sharing a post which dismissed the boycott of Scream 7.
The boycotts have been planned ever since the movie was announced and are due to Melissa Barrerra's firing due to her pro-Palestinian remarks.
The post, which was shared to Camp's Instagram, said: "The boycott didn't work, the critics didn't work, the pathetic leaks didn't work. What worked was audiences coming out and making the film a success."
Camp received backlash for the post and later posted a tweet to apologise.
She said: "It has come to my attention that I reposted someone else’s story that does not reflect my personal beliefs . I have since deleted the repost because I absolutely meant no harm. I’m sorry to anyone who was affected."
