Billy Porter has elaborated on when he said 'f*ck her' when asked about Nicki Minaj in January.
The 56-year-old entertainer was asked by Hollywood Unlocked about Minaj's recent support for Donald Trump while on the red carpet for the 2026 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala.
Porter said: "F*ck her".
Now, appearing on TS Madison's podcast 'Outlawed', Porter has clarified on his comment.
He said: “I was not expecting the Nicki Minaj question… This journalist, very smartly, she said: ‘Do you think you can separate the music from the activism?’ I said: ‘For me, no.’ And I spoke about it for at least a minute.”
He continued: “And then this b**ch went in for the kill because she knew. She said: ‘Well, speaking of so and so and such and such, Nicki Minaj has been…’ And she couldn't get it finished and I was triggered...”
“I didn't do that to have a soundbite. I didn't do that to go viral. That was a real response to what is going on on this planet.”
