BALMAIN CLAIMS ITS INSTINCT WITH ANTONIN TRON’S A/W26 DEBUT
Balmain’s Autumn/Winter 2026 presentation confirmed a shift in tempo for the house. In his first collection, Antonin Tron set aside excess in favour of instinct and impact.
Animal print dominated the runway, not as decoration but as declaration. Leopard and other wild motifs were cut into assured tailoring and fluid silhouettes, balancing precision with movement. The mood was fierce, yet controlled — confident without tipping into costume.
Rather than chasing spectacle, Tron proposed clarity. The codes of Balmain remain — sensuality, strength, presence — but they feel recalibrated. This is a house rediscovering its bite, and wearing it with intent.
