Was he legally drunk? The case against the driver accused of killing NHL star Johnny Gaudreau and his brother could hinge on a fraction of a percentage and a vial of blood. Cops said Sean Higgins was drunk when he slammed into Gaudreau and his brother Matthew in 2024 while riding bikes in Salem County, N.J. But Higgins’ attorneys now say the blood-alcohol reading given to the grand jury that charged him wasn’t correct.
