If I could choose just one exercise to reduce shoulder pain, it would be the horizontal raise.
This exercise targets the rotator cuff and the muscles at the back of your shoulder, which keeps the joint stable and pain-free.
By strengthening these smaller stabilising muscles, you: 1️⃣ improve shoulder control, 2️⃣ reduce strain on irritated tendons, 3️⃣ make everyday movements like reaching, lifting, and carrying feel smoother and more comfortable.
Use a very light dumbbell, move slowly and with control, and lift until you feel fatigue around the back of the shoulder. Repeat the set three times, and aim to do it three times per week.
