Most people train forward and backward. Barely touching rotation.
life doesn’t.
walking, running, throwing, swinging, picking up your kids..all of it requires rotation.
if you don’t train and strengthen rotation at the hips and core, your lower back ends up doing the work it’s not built for. that’s when you start feeling “tight,” stiff, or randomly tweaked.
strong rotation does a few big things:
• improves power transfer (so strength actually carries over)
• builds real-world core stability through the obliques and sling systems
• protects the knees and lower back by letting the hips do their job
• makes you feel athletic again…not robotic
mobility without strength won’t hold.
strength without rotation won’t translate.
train all planes. build a body that moves well under load…not just in straight lines.
that’s where durability comes from.
