The 2022 midterm elections have had us all on edge, but the rainbow wave reigned supreme with a slew of wins across the country, including the election of our country's first out lesbian governor, Maura Healey. After her race was called, Healey dedicated her victory to “every little girl and every young LGBTQ person out there.” She added, "I hope tonight shows you that you can be whatever, whoever you want to be. And nothing and no one can ever get in your way except your own imagination."
