#BrosMovie got topped at the box office this weekend, but leading man #BillyEichner isn't losing steam. The new #JuddApatow film hit theaters on Friday (September 30), though it ended up taking fourth place at the box office behind #Smile, #DontWorryDarling, and #TheWomanKing – despite glowing reviews from critics and a solid #RottenTomatoes score. Still, Eichner knows the people who needed this film the most will appreciate it. "Last night I snuck in and sat in the back of a sold out theater playing #Bros in LA," he wrote on Twitter. "The audience howled with laughter start to finish, burst into applause at the end, and some were wiping away tears as they walked out. It was truly magical." While he said "straight people, especially in certain parts of the country, just didn't show up" for the film, he reaffirmed how proud he is of the movie, which is the first major studio picture with an entire #LGBTQ+ cast.
