Joel joined the cast of ravenshomeofficial Season 5 as Nikki, an influencer who meets the Baxter family in its most recent episode, "The Fierce Awakens," which aired on Friday (July 8). Joel took to #Instagram to celebrate everything appearing on #RavensHome means to her, especially as someone who grew up watching ravensymone on #ThatsSoRaven. "It was my favorite show & Raven Baxter was my best friend in my mind," she wrote. "It was my escape from what I was going through internally." She added that with "all of the anti-trans hate and narratives in media and society, it was a win," and to "never tell yourself it can't happen because it can, in ways you never dreamt possible." We hope this is just the start of more #LGBTQ+ representation on #Disney, and we can't wait to see more of Nikki!
