While we are still here in the Dominican Republic, we continue to build meaningful connections through music, education, and cultural exchange. Our second stop was Escuela Bellas Artes San Cristóbal, where we were warmly welcomed by Director Natalis Bautista. During our visit, we brought Spanish-language children’s books, marking the beginning of an ongoing effort to establish a library for underprivileged children — the first library within a Bellas Artes institution. This initiative reflects our shared belief that access to books and the arts can open doors, inspire creativity, and create lasting educational opportunities for young people in the community. By placing books directly into the hands of students and educators, we hope to help build a resource that will continue to grow for generations of young artists and learners in San Cristóbal.
