Jacob Tierney is heading from the hockey rink to ancient history. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ The creator of Crave's 'Heated Rivalry' has landed a straight-to-series order at Netflix for 'Alexander,' a new drama about the teenage years of Alexander the Great and his complicated mentorship with philosopher Aristotle. Tierney will write and direct the series, which adapts 'The Golden Mean' by Annabel Lyon. The project is also being produced by Brendan Brady, Jason Bateman, and Michael Costigan through Aggregate Films.
