Tokyo Marathon Weekend, Day 1, Friday, Feb 27: Way too many steps taken. My flights were delayed Thursday, pushing my plan to visit the Expo and teamlab.planets to Friday, the day I’d previously planned to use as a low key tokyodisneyresort_official park hopping day. I started my day early, grabbing a cup of coffee and pastry at hualalai3535 along with a free brooksrunningjp tote bag before heading to the #TokyoMarathon Expo. I proceeded to spend more than 3 hours at the Expo before heading to Teamlab Planets- so worth the hype with some insane exhibits. Could’ve spent 5+ hours in there. Definitely suggest booking an early morning slot for less crowds, as there’s no time limit for how long you can stay. I headed over to Tokyo Disneyland from there, and had to check in to DL to activate my park hopping. To my surprise, or not, Tokyo Disneyland is basically a copy/paste of Magic Kingdom.
