We are excited to announce the 2026 Kids to Parks Day School grantees! 🥁🎉 The 118 grant recipients received up to $1,000 to fund their park trip, with the Park Trust awarding a total of $120,804. This year’s program will benefit over 6,587 students in grades pre-K through 12, from 31 states and American Samoa, Puerto Rico, the Mariana Islands, and Washington, DC! The School Grants Program is a part of Kids to Parks Day, an annual nationwide day of outdoor play celebrated every third Saturday in May at public lands and waters across the United States. This year, Kids to Parks Day is on May 16.
