Last week, 5th graders from Howard Hollingsworth Elementary visited Valley.Of.Fire in NV for a day of hiking, learning, and fun! 🥾🌄 The students explored several hiking trails throughout the park, where they learned about the geology of the rock formations and the meaning of the petroglyphs on Mouse's Tank Trail. They finished their trip with lunch at Atlatl Rock, where they got to see more petroglyphs and a dinosaur fossil.
