100 year old tea house in Kyoto! 🌸🍵🫖 Rokujuan in Tokyo is a historic tea house with a stunning little garden serving hanawarabi mochi — teardrop-shaped clear mochi with an edible flower filling. You dip it in kuromitsu (brown sugar syrup) and kinako powder (soybean flour) before eating it. To be really honest, I love mochi, but I wasn’t a fan of these. However, they are so beautiful and delicate!
