Cancer. It’s news no family wants to receive. When 13-year-old Landon and his family received his Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma diagnosis in May of 2022, their world soon became a blur of appointments, treatments and hospitalizations at Children’s. Despite the circumstances, Landon remained positive, determined and courageous. As he fought, he quickly became a strong advocate for himself. He says the trust he had in Children’s oncology team empowered him to ask questions and communicate transparently with his nurses and doctors.
Landon finished his final chemo treatment in October of 2022, where he was officially declared cancer free. In an emotional end to his treatment journey, Landon was clapped out of Children’s infusion center one final time by his family and dedicated care team.
