What if a language barrier could actually be a breakthrough for building community? At #MUC3, a fulfillment center outside Munich, Germany, it already is.⁠ 🇩🇪 ⁠ From Alabama to Syria and points in between—MUC3 is home to employees from around the world. Ninety languages are spoken at that single site. ⁠ ⁠ “I fled from Syria because of the war,” said Ali Bayoun, an associate at MUC3. “I applied at a lot of companies, but I wouldn’t be accepted because of my bad German language skills... until I got a call from Amazon.” ⁠ ⁠ MUC3 General Manager Ernst Schaeffler doesn’t see language barriers as a liability.
