For #AmazonStars week, we’re proud to feature John O’Brien, a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at the robotics fulfillment center in Kemps Creek, Australia. 🇦🇺 John is helping others put their lives back together after his own wife and baby son lost their lives in a house fire. The first week after the tragedy, John’s brother gifted him with all sorts of essentials, and packed them in a suitcase. “I always think back to what happened to me in the first few days and remember what help I got – and that was the big one,” he says. “It’s little things like that which give you your independence back, and I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to do anything for myself.” It was that simple suitcase that kickstarted a grief-stricken John, and it’s that simple suitcase that led him to set up a charity earlier this year, Jude O’Brien Fund, named in honor of his son. ➡️ Link in bio for the full story and to learn more about the Jude O’Brien Fund.
