Salt River Cemetery is the final resting place for over 5,000 people and is located just outside the village of Shepherd. In this small, quiet cemetery lies Wilhelmina “Minnie” Vautrin, an educator and American missionary⁠ ⁠ Born in 1886, Minnie acquired several titles before her death in 1941.
