From early suffrage advocates to leaders of the Civil Rights Movement and contemporary organizers working to increase civic participation, their efforts have shaped the nation’s democratic landscape. Throughout Women’s History Month, the National Civil Rights Museum will highlight the women who helped secure access to the ballot — and those continuing the work today. We invite you to engage with this series and explore these stories within the museum. #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenandtheVote #HerVoiceHerVote
