We are continuing to build up a variety of greeting cards that are available in our museum store at the Sacramento History Museum. In this video, Jared letterpress printed a purple greeting card fit for a variety of occasions using a 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press. The card includes a print of a sewing machine from a photo engraving. This cut was gifted to us by Al from New Jersey. To be a little punny, the text above states, “You’re sew great!” and was typeset in 60 point Cheltenham Bold font.
