EROSION CONCERNS: Several Long Island beaches are showing serious damage from harsh winter weather. In Smithtown, storms damaged the stairs and stripped away dirt and sand at Kings Park Bluff along the Nissequogue River and Long Island Sound. News 12 also previously reported damage at Lt. George R.
