On a 4 March episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Rogan made several unfounded claims targeting trans people while speaking with his guest Steve-O. Comedian and stunt performer Steve-O, known best for his role within the ‘Jackass’ franchise, was attempting to share a story of an encounter he had with a trans person who described to him a “level of oppression that genuinely f*cking broke my heart.” When Steve-O said that the trans person mentioned they weren’t allowed to use the restroom at their place of work, Rogan interjected with “Not true. They’re just not allowed to use the bathroom that doesn’t align with their biological s*x.” Rogan continued on a tangent, saying “I genuinely think there’s people that feel like they are in the wrong biological s*x, right? But there’s also people that are f*cking p*rverts and they have a thing called autogynephilia… and they’re creeps.
