Did you know these? Tonight are the Opening Ceremonies and I’m so proud as a Paralympian to not only be part of this incredible movement but to be able to watch and support my friends. I remember walking in both Sochi and Korea opening ceremonies and getting emotional thinking of everything it took to get there, from losing my legs to dedicating my life to snowboarding and training and helping others do the same, and although we each have our own journey, each athlete walking tonight has dedicated and sacrificed their lives to be there.
