ROOF COLLAPSE: The collapse was reported at 27 Park Place on Friday. One resident was taken to the hospital for back pain. No other injuries were reported. A temporary shelter was set up at the Bloomfield Civic Center. The American Red Cross and Bloomfield Human Services are coordinating housing accommodations for residents, with support from Bloomfield College of Montclair State University. The Bloomfield Office of Emergency Management is also working to give clothing to those displaced, as well as assistance to residents with special needs.
