Lavender Recognition is an annual ceremony celebrating sexual and gender diverse graduating students and their allies, honoring their achievements, leadership, and contributions to the Penn State community. 🌈 This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 25th Annual Lavender Recognition. Graduating students from May, August, or December 2026 are invited to join us for the celebration: 📅 Friday, April 24 ⏰ 6:00 p.m. 📍 Alumni Hall, University Park 🍽 Dinner provided Participants who attend the ceremony will receive a Lavender stole, tassel, and certificate. Graduates do not need to wear commencement regalia and are encouraged to dress in business formal or cocktail attire.
