Narcotics Arrest Following Welfare Check Deputies recently responded to the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Plum Canyon Road after receiving a report of a man passed out in a vehicle. When deputies arrived, they observed a brick of suspected cocaine and a digital scale in plain view on the passenger floorboard. During the investigation, deputies also located baggies commonly used for narcotics sales and more than $10,000 in cash. The suspected cocaine was later determined to weigh approximately 954 grams. The suspect, a male in his 40s, was arrested on felony narcotics charges. We thank the community member who alerted deputies to the situation.
