When you stepped into the UVC today, you placed the yellow Miracle Band around your wrist. This is intentional. It symbolizes the hospital bands worn by the strong Miracle Children and patients at Connecticut Children’s as they endure some of the toughest storms imaginable. Right now, we ask that you join us in the Circle of Hope, where we come together as both a community and a family, hand in hand, heart to heart, to reflect on the dedication and light that has defined HuskyTHON 2026. During the Circle of Hope, your Miracle Band will be cut to prompt a moment of reflection. Not just on HuskyTHON 2026, but also our shared hope for something greater, a sky free of clouds, a world free of childhood illness, and a future where every child has the chance to simply be a kid.
