Supermoms Nicole Chambers, Abbey Pires, and Bhavna Nixon frequent the UBC Tennis Centre almost daily. They first met at a lesson in 2021 where they instantly clicked, and have been rallying together ever since. The three of them share equally, if not more, laughter as they play tennis. From group and semi-private lessons to pro-am doubles, their entwined journey empowered them to start a Division 5 team in the city women’s doubles league. These powerful women remind us what it means to infuse play into adulthood and how stepping outside of your comfort zone to learn something new can open more doors beyond a new skill.
