🇧🇷 Brazilian paralympians Aline Rocha and Elena Sena are representing Latina athletes and their country at the 2026 Paralympic Games in Milan as the only Latin American female athletes. Rocha, a seasoned wheelchair racer, cross-country skier, and biathlon athlete with 15 years of experience, is one of Brazil’s top contenders at the Games this year. She made history at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games, becoming the first Brazilian woman to compete at the Paralympic Winter Games, and did it again in 2023 when she won gold at the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships, becoming Brazil’s first Nordic skiing world champ. Sena, a rising cross-country skier and biathlon athlete, is making her debut at the Games this year and competing in the biathlon and cross-country skiing competitions.
