While the Windsor High School girls’ golf team attempted to win today’s 28-team Erie Classic held at Thorncreek Golf Club, lightning turned out to be the victor 🌩 The event was cancelled after the majority of the players had finished at least 13 holes and the results were unofficial. At the time of the cancellation, Windsor was in third place with a team score of 38-over. Sophomore Macy Kleve was 6-over after 17 holes, senior Paige Bretz was 8-over after 17 holes and junior Alexa Strohman was 24-over after 17 holes. Sophomore Abbie Winterbottom was the only Wizard to conclude her round as she shot a 106.
