Robinhood Markets Inc (NASDAQ: HOOD) shares moved higher after the company announced several new financial products, including its new Platinum credit card and custodial investment accounts.
The Robinhood Platinum Card is an invite-only premium credit card with a $695 annual fee and benefits across travel, dining and wellness.
Key Platinum card benefits include:
• Up to $3,000 in annual benefits• $250 annual credit for autonomous ride services• $120 TSA PreCheck or Global Entry credit• $250 DoorDash dining credit• Up to $500 in hotel booking credits• Airport lounge access via Priority Pass Select
Robinhood also launched custodial accounts allowing parents and guardians to invest on behalf of minors. The company introduced a new family hub designed to give households a unified view of family investments.
CEO Vlad Tenev says the goal is to build a financial platform where families can invest and grow wealth across generations.
