After my own experience and also seeing posts, news stories and chatting with friends I was inspired to share this. This is my official vote to move the Winter Paralympic Games earlier in the season. If there’s one thing Paralympian’s do best it’s adapt, however when temperatures are warm or constantly changing from slick to ice, it’s not just challenging, there’s safety concerns plus it causes the course to deteriorate quickly which isn’t ideal for athlete performance, safety, or for the viewing experience. This isn’t a criticism of the Paralympic Committee. I simply want to lend my voice to this campaign, if there is one. When you’re watching keep in mind just how impressive these athletes are! If you see them going down keep in mind the conditions they are racing on. Today’s conditions look better than yesterday so hopefully it keeps trending on that direction. So they can show the world what possible! ❤️ #paralympicgames #winterparalympics
