This message is so important, especially around International Women’s Day. Sport England’s recent survey revealed that girls are 22% less likely than boys to get outside out of school hours. Getting outside matters. Play matters. And every girl deserves the freedom to explore, play and get a bit dirty - it’s how they grow! Muddy afternoons were some of my most treasured memories as a child - innocent exploration and pure joy. It’s so important for children to experience this enriched learning from a young age, and I feel this more than ever now, as a mum. I’m joining the movement, and I want to invite you to as well!
