The seniors of the Carlisle girls basketball program got to finish their careers on top – for the first time in school history. Led by that senior core – which included three starters and the Wildcat’s sixth player – Carlisle held off Dallas Center-Grimes, 38-36, in the Class 4A state championship game at the Iowa high school girls state basketball tournament on Saturday, March 7.
