A few weeks ago I installed VIXA from the AA. It’s like a fitness tracker for your vehicle! It plugs into your van or car and monitors the health of both your engine and your battery. At the first sign of any issues it sends you an alert via the app Turns out I have two issues (🥴) that I wasn’t aware of! If you’ve been following my stories you would have seen me discover that the diesel filter had an issue, this is how I found out! Whilst I was sad to discover that Betty had more than a few issues (very sad), I was honestly so pleased that I discovered them before I going to Europe again. If these issues had gone undetected and I went to France alone and then broke down I would have been devastated. The diesel filter issue has now been fixed which is great! I now just need someone to look at the battery, so I’m going to use the VIXA app to book a mechanic to look at it when I’m back in the UK.
