Around 100 students gathered in front of Geisel Library at 1 p.m. last Thursday to protest UCSDPD’s alleged participation in Operation Stonegarden, a DHS program that funds collaboration between local and federal law enforcement to “secure the United States’ borders along routes of ingress from international borders.” Read more about the protest and UCSDPD’s response by picking up a print issue at a blue newsstand near you, or online at ucsdguardian.org.
