• In 2010 I attended Gallery 37 and took their intro photography class where we learned the foundations of shooting on 35mm film. That’s where I first learned how to take photos, develop them in the darkroom, and most importantly how to turn images into stories. That experience stuck with me. I carried those same principles with me into college, building on what I learned there and expanding my skills. The process evolved from developing 35mm to working with large format film, but the mindset stayed the same.
