Most people think leaving your 9–5 starts with courage. In my experience, it starts with signals. Before I went all in on creatoreconomynyc and getsiftsy in March 2025, both were side projects for almost two years. Nights, weekends, whenever I could find the time. The signals I paid attention to were pretty simple: Financial signals: money starting to come in Momentum signals: customers, traction, or clear demand picking up If one of those signals starts showing up consistently… pay attention. If both start showing up, it might be time to think seriously about going all in. Especially when you get the sense that if you gave it your full attention, it could really take off.
