EAGLE RECOVERY: A bald eagle pulled from the icy Hudson River last month is showing signs of improvement, according to The Raptor Trust. The NYPD Harbor Unit rescued the injured bird on Feb. 17 after spotting it floating on ice just north of the George Washington Bridge and hearing it call out. The eagle was taken to The Raptor Trust, a bird rehabilitation center in Millington, New Jersey, where staff identified it as a 21-year-old male by its band. The Raptor Trust says the eagle’s health has shown positive changes over the past week. Watch News 12 and tune into our stories for more. . . . #News12 #NewYork #NewJersey #Millington
