DRAMATIC RESCUE: Crews from multiple fire departments rescued a person from a 40-foot-high catwalk at the Millstone Township Middle School performing arts center Saturday night. Firefighters were called around 5:30 p.m. for a medical emergency on the catwalk, where the patient could not get down alone. Working with EMS, they began treatment on the catwalk while setting anchor points and rescue equipment. Because of the complexity, additional firefighters responded from Englishtown and Monroe Township. The patient was secured in a specialized rescue stretcher, lowered to a mezzanine and then carried down a steep staircase to ground level before being taken to a local hospital. . . . #News12 #News12NJ #NewJersey #Millstone
