Why AXiD Wednesday with sophomore Beene Mweene: I chose AXiD because, from the second day of recruitment, I felt the warmth and love. I knew it was the one place I could truly be myself and surround myself with people who made me smile every day, whether I saw them on campus or in my dorm. I love AXID with my whole heart because I got to meet and become close with the most caring, supportive, and dependable girls, who never fail to make this whole experience worth it. I got a new bundle of women, who I truly see as my sisters, and have been there for me during my lowest times and during my successful times. I am thankful every day I get to make the best memories with all of them. My favorite part about being in AXiD is having the opportunity to build relationships and friendships with girls who are older and younger than me.
