One of the more exciting moments of the weekend at our NARCh Regional Qualifier at Marple Sports was the 12u Shootout between the Empire Snipers Black and Outlaws White.  Both teams were tied with 17 GF 10 GA and 2 wins and a loss = 4pts.  It was a 12-team division and 6 of those teams were tied with 4 pts, which is crazy.  These two teams were tied with goals against and goals for, which is why we needed a shootout. This wasn’t a loser go home situation.  It was to determine playoff matchups.  The winner would be the 3 seed and play Black Ice and the loser would be the 4 seed and play Get Saucy.  The shootout went deep into 1-shooter sudden death.  Outlaws would score and Snipers would always answer.
