POV: It’s Day 15 of #BabyLongNeck and you open a Zookeeper’s camera roll 📱 Mstari’s female Masai giraffe calf is already showing off her curious and independent personality! She often wanders a little ways away from mom to explore on her own, but she still makes time to come over and say hello to her team, especially if mom is feeding. She also seems to know exactly what a camera is and has already mastered the art of making those around her laugh while capturing plenty of adorable photos and videos! With her teeth continuing to come in, Mstari’s calf is mouthing just about everything she can reach including mom’s ossicones, neck, and chin. Her Outer Savanna team adores her and are excited to watch her grow into a beautiful and majestic ambassador for the Masai giraffe species. A reminder that Mstari and calf are currently not viewable.
