🌟 High School Highlight: Avery 🌟 💬 "My name is Avery Brown and in the Summer of 2025 I participated in a high school summer abroad program in Paris with CIEE! I moved in with a family in Paris for four weeks and learned about French language and culture. I think what I can credit my adventure with CIEE for the most, is how it flooded me with a sense of independence. I learned that true resilience means finding a crumb of comfort in a sea of the uncomfortable. I learned to communicate and connect in new ways, develop friendships quickly, and navigate the unknown. Upon returning home, I felt like a new person. I discovered that all the responsibility and adaptability I learned in Paris was just as applicable to my life back in the US, and I now had an array of new language skills to show for it!"
