From lucky sushi roll eating to bean throwing 👹🍣   Last night we hosted our own CIEE Setsubun Night, a Japanese tradition that marks the transition from winter to spring and welcomes good fortune for the year ahead. Between laughter, learning, and beans, we chanted “Oni wa soto, fuku wa uchi!” and even faced the year’s lucky direction (south/southeast) while eating the famous Setsubun sushi roll called ehō-maki 😌✨   We loved celebrating together and hope everyone had fun experiencing Japanese traditions through our mini version last night while exploring something new here in Kyoto 🌸   Have you heard of Setsubun before?
